Do not judge cost from the principal alone
Review the rate period, term, payment frequency and every mandatory charge. A fixed charge can have a noticeable effect on a smaller amount, while a very short term can create a difficult payment date even when the total principal is limited.
This page does not state a universal minimum amount. Available amounts and conditions belong to each provider and can change after assessment.
Compare the same scenario
Use the same requested amount and term when reviewing alternatives. Compare the amount received with expected total payments and check how late-payment provisions would affect the obligation.
- Net amount delivered.
- Rate and equivalent comparison period.
- Mandatory charges and optional services.
- Payment dates and accepted payment channels.
- Final contract and complaint information.
Consider a non-credit alternative
For a narrow temporary expense, ask whether the bill can be delayed or divided before creating a separate obligation. Do not stack several small credits whose combined payments exceed the budget.
If a service advertises guaranteed or immediate money, identify whether it is the direct provider and wait for the actual written offer. Never pay an advance amount merely to unlock supposed approved funds.
